CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL stars Big Buck's and Quevega are among three inductees sworn into the Cheltenham Hall Of Fame ahead of the new season at the course.
The other is JP McManus, renowned owner and punter whose 48 wins at the Festival include five Champion Hurdles, three with the great Istabraq, and the Gold Cup with Synchronised in 2012.
Big Buck's won four World Hurdles between 2009 and 2012, during which time he won 18 successive races, seven of them at Prestbury Park.
Quevega won the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle six times and played a major role in its upgrade to a Grade 1 contest in 2015, the year after her final victory. She retired unbeaten at Cheltenham.
Ian Renton, regional director for Cheltenham, said: "The Hall of Fame recognises horses and humans that have performed to the highest level at Cheltenham and provided racing fans with many moments to cherish.
"I am pleased that we are able to remember and enjoy all those moments within the Hall of Fame."
The trio join 20 horses and people already inducted to the Hall Of Fame, including McManus' great hurdler Istabraq and Ruby Walsh, who rode both Big Buck's and Quevega to all their wins at Cheltenham.
