Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, the Azamour gelding won his fourth race from just five career starts when he landed the Group Three Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes over a mile at Glorious Goodwood last time and he's been supplemented at a cost of £10,000.
He is one of two three-year-olds in the Group Two on Saturday, the other being Zonderland, trained by Clive Cox.
The Dutch Art colt was also a Group Three winner on his latest start, in the Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury.
The older horses are headed by Godolphin's Toormore, who carries a 3lb penalty for his Group Two win in the bet365 Mile at Sandown earlier in the season.
Hathal, last seen winning a Listed race at Newmarket for William Haggas last September, could make a belated seasonal reappearance.
Gabrial finished second last year and could take his chance again for Richard Fahey, while David O'Meara's So Beloved is another northern-based challenger.
Qatar Racing have both Arod and Lightning Spear in the reckoning, with Breton Rock completing the list of nine possibles.
