MADAM DANCEALOT, the convincing winner of the Group 3 Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury on Thursday, has been entered in the Goffs Champions Sale, which is held during Irish Champions Weekend at Leopardstown next Saturday.
A daughter of red-hot first-season sire Sir Prancealot, Madam Dancealot was not sold at just £5,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Breeze-up Sale in April.
She was subsequently trained by Joe Tuite to finish a close second to the high-class Mehmas on her debut at Chester, after which whe was bought by Kern/Lillingston on behalf of Olivia Hoare for £100,000 at the Goffs London Sale on the eve of Royal Ascot.
Madam Dancealot carried her new owner's silks to win a Newbury maiden and to finish seventh in the Princess Margaret Stakes and second in a Ripon conditions race, before making most of the running to win the Dick Poole by one and a quarter lengths.
She was bred by Tally-Ho Stud out of the winning Danehill mare Sisal and hails from the family of top dual-purpose performer Alderbrook.
More entries for the Goffs Champions Sale will be announced on Monday, with a limited number of late entries to be accepted up to Wednesday.
