Clover’s Royal Ascot ambitions

Ardad ridden by Robert Havlin leads the field home to win the 2016 Windsor Castle Stakes.

Tom Clover is looking forward to having a Royal Ascot runner in his first season as a trainer as Declarationoflove is set to take his chance in the Windsor Castle Stakes.

The speedy two-year-old gave Clover and the colt's sire Declaration Of War a first winner when he claimed a novice contest at Windsor in May.

Clover now plans to aim Declarationoflove at the five-furlong Listed prize at the Royal meeting on June 20.
