Codd sparkles in Amateur Derby
Jamie Codd showed why he has been so successful in his native Ireland by giving a masterclass on Hubertas in the Amateur Derby on his first ride at Epsom.

The Cheltenham Festival-winning rider bided his time on the John Quinn-trained four-year-old before making his challenge halfway down the straight.
As the pacemaker Leyland faded out of contention, the 3-1 favourite burst through to lead and keep Jupiter Custos at bay by three-quarters of a length. The leading pair drew six lengths clear of Eton Rambler in third.
The victory completed a treble on the card for Quinn as the North Yorkshire trainer had earlier struck with Ancient Astronaut and El Astronaute.
Codd said: "It's great to come over here and do this on my first ride here. It's fantastic.
"When you see it on TV you don't think it's daunting, but when you ride it there's a massive pull for the first five furlongs and even the camber in the home straight is quite tricky.
"I was probably there too soon but my excuse is I'm a jump jockey!"
He added: "These are the places you want to be winning at. When you are a jockey it's all about getting winners at Cheltenham, Aintree and all the big places as you want to go showcase your talents."
