Coolagown Stud releases its 2017 fees

COOLAGOWN Stud has released fees for its five-strong roster for the coming season.

Zambezi Sun, a new arrival from France, will stand at a fee of €3,000. The son of Dansili won the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris and his runners to date have included Grade 3-placed Bulkov and All Together, who won twice last season.

Carlotamix, sire of dual French Champion Hurdle winner Gemix and the only son of Linamix at stud in Ireland, will stand at a fee of €3,500. His first crop will be three-year-olds in 2017.

Irish Derby winner Frozen Fire will stand at a fee of €2,500. His first crop will be four-year-olds in 2017.

Shantaram, a son of Galileo who won the Group 3 Bahrain Trophy, will stand at €1,000. A brother to Gan Amhras, who finished third in the 2,000 Guineas, his first crop will be two-year-olds in 2017.

Solskjaer, who was imported from South Africa last year, won the Group 2 Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh, and is a half-brother to the multiple Gold Cup hero Yeats. He will start his second season in Ireland at a fee of €2,000.
