Cowell has Great Toofi concern
Trainer Robert Cowell revealed Toofi is far from certain to take his chance in the William Hill Great St Wilfrid Stakes at Ripon on Saturday.

Despite a disappointing run in the Stewards’ Cup at Glorious Goodwood last month, the five-year-old is as short as 10-1 for this weekend’s prestigious handicap.
Cowell is confident his charge will bounce back to form, but will only run him on Saturday if conditions ease.
“I think he can do better than that (performance at Goodwood), but he probably needs slightly easier ground,” the trainer told At The Races.
“For him, I would say good ground or even a little bit cut in the ground – he would show up if that is the case.
“On fast ground, I don’t think we would run him.
“We could probably end up in some nice handicaps towards the end of the year.
“The Ayr Gold Cup and things like that could be on his agenda.”
