AQUIS FARM in Australia has appointed Jonathan Crowley and Tom Inglis to positions on its team as part of a strategy for growth and success on the racetrack and in the sale ring.

The Queensland operation of Hong Kong-based billionaire Tony Fung has been busy building up their bloodstock interests over the past year.

They are currently standing four stallions for the Australian breeding season including former Coolmore shuttler Holy Roman Emperor.

Crowley joins the team as head of sales having previously worked for Coolmore first in the National Hunt division before joining the Coolmore Australia team selling nominations for six years.

He has also held roles as racing manager for Tim Martin, private sales manager for Julian Blaxland's Blue Sky Bloodstock and Inglis Digital.

Crowley said: "I have made lifelong relationships with a large number of Australian trainers and breeders and feel the local breeding and racing industry is clearly the most dynamic and robust of any jurisdiction in the world.

"I'm excited to start work for Aquis Farm as sales manager, and contribute to its growth and advancement in racing and breeding in this country and overseas."

Inglis joins Aquis Farm from the Sydney-based Inglis auction house and has plenty of experience in the industry having spent time in America, Argentina and Australia.

Most recently he worked as a bloodstock consultant at Magic Millions.

Inglis said: "I am thrilled to be a part of the Aquis Farm team and look forward to bringing further success to the farm and their many clients as the business expands in years to come."
