Dabyah on course for Classic bid

John Gosden's Fred Darling winner Dabyah is one of 24 fillies remaining in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) at Deauville on Saturday.

Third in the Prix Marcel Boussac at Chantilly in October, she reappeared with a stylish success under Frankie Dettori at Newbury

"We think she'll be going over there with a good shout," said Bruce Raymond, racing manager for owner Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, who had Daban finish third to Winter at Newmarket on Sunday.

"She was good last season, and ran a lovely race at Newbury on her comeback.

"It didn't look like Frankie had to get too serious, so it was the perfect trial really."

William Haggas has left in Sea Of Grace and Cristal Fizz, Richard Hannon could run Promising while Charlie Appleby's Sobetsu is another possible along with Simon Crisford's Asidious Alexander.

Aidan O'Brien can call on Roly Poly, Smoulder, Asking and Rain Goddess.

Andre Fabre's Lady Frankel, Pascal Bary's Senga and Delectation, a Group Three winner for Bryan Smart last year and now with Andreas Wohler, are others to note.
