BLUE-BLOODED three-year-old filly Eyeshine, a daughter of Dubawi and 2003 Oaks heroine Casual Look, will be aiming to break her duck in the 1m4f fillies' maiden at Kempton at 7.25pm on Wednesday.

The filly has been placed second on two of her three starts for John Gosden, most recently when three quarters of a length runner-up last month over course and distance.

Bred by Will Farish, owner of Lane's End Farm, Eyeshine races in partnership with Flaxman Stables who purchased the filly for $1.45m at the 2014 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

A daughter of Red Ransom, Casual Look carried Farish's colours to victory on two occasions and was also placed three times at the highest level including when second to Soviet Song in the 2002 Fillies' Mile.

Casual Look has produced four winners to date with Eyeshine being a half-sister to Sea The Stars filly Casual Smile, winner of last year's Grade 3 Matchmaker Stakes, and the Listed Gulfstream Derby runner-up Casual Trick, a son of Bernardini.

Last year Casual Look produced a colt by Frankel and this season she foaled a brother to Eyeshine by Dubawi.

Well-related maidens lock horns in France

The opening 1m1f maiden at Le Croise-Laroche on Wednesday features a number of well-related three-year-old homebreds bidding to register a first success at 4.40pm local time (3.40pm GMT).

Man Of Honor, a son of Raven's Pass, will be having his second start for Alain de Royer Dupre having finished tenth on his debut at Moulins last month over 7f.

Bred by Sven Hanson and his wife Carina Klingberg under their Fair Salinia Ltd breeding banner, Man Of Honor is the fifth foal produced by star mare Pride, a daughter of Peintre Celebre.

Pride was crowned champion older mare in Europe in 2006 following top-level victories in the Champion Stakes and Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, with further success coming at the end of the year in the Hong Kong Cup.

In addition to being a talented racemare, Pride has proven to be a more than capable broodmare with all four of her previous foals going on to record success, headed by One Foot In Heaven.

The four-year-old son of Fastnet Rock has carried the Fair Salinia Ltd colours to victory on five of his eight starts, with three black-type triumphs this season topped by victory in Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly in June.

Trained by Pascal Bary, Moving makes his third appearance on a racecourse for owner Flaxman Stables after finishing runner-up at Deauville on his first start over 1m1½f and sixth at the same course on his next outing.

A son of War Front, Moving was bred by Flaxman Holdings out of the 1m Listed Prix de Bagatelle victress Visions Of Clarity, a Sadler's Wells half-sister to five-time Group/Grade 1 winning miler Spinning World.

Visions Of Clarity has produced four previous winners with Moving being a half-brother to the Distorted Humor colt Pathfork, who recorded wins in the 2010 Group 1 National Stakes and Group 2 Futurity Stakes before being crowned champion two-year-old colt in Ireland, and US Listed scorer Tacticus, a son of A P Indy.

Another of her foals, the unraced Kingmambo mare Lotus Sutra, is dam of the two-year-old Listed scorer Nucifera and four-time Listed-placed Buying Trouble while in 2014, Visions Of Clarity foaled a sister to Pathfork.

Subsequently named Awareness, the filly is in training with Jessica Harrington who prepared Pathfork throughout his two and three-year-old seasons.

Darley homebred Sleeptalker finished sixth on her 1m½f debut for trainer Henri-Alex Pantall at La Roche Posay.

By Street Cry, she is a three-year-old daughter of the Green Desert mare Suez, the winner of the 2004 6f Listed Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes and runner-up in the Cheveley Park Stakes who hails from the family of Meon Valley Stud foundation mare Reprocolor that has produced numerous top-level winners including Kayf Tara, Opera House and Izzi Top.

Suez has foaled three winners with Sleeptalker being a sister to 2011 Fillies' Mile and Group 2 May Hill Stakes heroine Lyric Of Light and an as yet unnamed two-year-old colt in training with Charlie Appleby.
