DANETIME OUT, the dam of both Toormore and Estidhkaar, has been covered by Muhaarar after delivering a colt foal by Dark Angel earlier in the year.

Jimmy Murphy of Redpender Stud said: "We wanted to keep her with a fast, well-bred horse. He was just the best horse for the mare, and he's a very good-looking horse. He won the races you'd like to win to make a young stallion.

"They didn't overprice him for what he achieved on the racecourse."

Danetime Out, a 14-year-old unraced daughter of Danetime, has produced three winners to date including the useful handicapper Try The Chance.

She also has a two-year-old colt by Declaration Of War, purchased as a yearling at Tattersalls for 290,000gns by MV Magnier, Mayfair and Peter and Ross Doyle.

Murphy added: "He was a very nice yearling so it will be interesting to see how he'll go."

Another prompt for sending Danetime Out to Muhaarar was the memory of an April afternoon in 2015, when the son of Oasis Dream saw off Estidhkaar in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes at Newbury by a neck, breaking the course record over seven furlongs.

Muhaarar proceeded to win four consecutive Group 1 sprints in a remarkable three-year-old campaign. He is standing his second season at Shadwell's Nunnery Stud at an unchanged fee of £30,000.

Another notable member of the County Kilkenny stud's broodmare band is Street Style, whose son Panama Hat went on a five-race unbeaten streak in 2014, and the following year landed the Group 3 Diamond Stakes at Dundalk and the Listed Lenabane Stakes at Roscommon.

The 12-year-old daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar has been scanned in foal to another Shadwell stallion, Awtaad, having foaled a Gleneagles filly earlier in the year.

"Awtaad's a fine horse and showed fair form," Murphy said. "He's out of a Shamardal mare and won the Irish 2,000 Guineas. He was third in the St. James's Palace Stakes and also won the Boomerang [Stakes at Irish Champions Weekend]."

Redpender sold Street Style's daughter by Canford Cliffs – since named Clemento – for 240,000gns at Book 1 at Tattersalls in 2015, and she was a creditable seventh on her only start for Richard Hughes last year.

Awtaad, a son of Cape Cross, was retired to Derrinstown Stud this year at a fee of €15,000.
