GROUP 2-winning sprinter Hot Streak has his first foal on the ground in the shape of a filly bred by Patrick Cosgrove.

The new arrival is out of the Listed-placed Acclamation mare Breedj and is a half-sister to the winners Cuppacoffee and Miss Power. Further back it is the family of Grade 1 hero Stormello and Grade 3 scorer The Pamplemousse.

Hot Streak, a six-year-old son of Iffraaj out of the Housebuster mare Ashirah, a granddaughter of outstanding blue hen Hasili, was trained by Kevin Ryan to win four races during his career.

He won three times as a two-year-old including in the Listed Julia Graves Roses Stakes and the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes. At three he claimed the Group 2 Temple Stakes where he beat Pearl Secret by half a length.

Hot Streak is set to stand the 2017 breeding season at Tweenhills Farm and Stud at a fee of £6,000. He stood his first season at the operation last year at £7,000.
