A RED-HOT spell for first-season sire Sir Prancealot continued on Thursday as he supplied his first Pattern winner when daughter Madam Dancealot landed the Group 3 Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury.

Tally-Ho Stud resident Sir Prancealot has been represented by a slew of winners in recent weeks and now has 22 in total on the board in Europe – eight more than his closest rival Helmet, with Bated Breath on 13.

Madam Dancealot showed the son of Tamayuz can provide quality as well as quantity when she made most of the running to win the Dick Poole by one and a quarter lengths from the Oasis Dream filly Mystic Dawn.

Madam Dancealot is trained by Joseph Tuite for Olivia Hoare. She was bought on the owner's behalf by Kern/Lillingston for £100,000 at the Goffs London Sale in June after she had won a Newbury maiden.

The filly, who had originally been registered as not sold for just £5,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Breeze-up Sale in April, has also finished seventh in the Princess Margaret Stakes and second in a Ripon conditions race since her sale at Goffs.

Tally-Ho Stud bred Madam Dancealot out of the winning Danehill mare Sisal, who the operation bought from the Darley draft for 21,000gns at the 2005 Tattersalls December Breeding-Stock Sale.

Sisal – who is out of a half-sister to Champion Hurdle hero Alderbrook – is the dam of four winners from seven runners, with Madam Dancealot the first of those to collect black type.
Madam Dancealot is Sisal's last foal, with Weatherbys recording the mare as having left stud this year.

Tally-Ho Stud is also the breeder of Sir Prancealot's other leading light, Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes winner and Weatherbys Super Sprint runner-up Stormy Clouds.
