REMUS DE LA TOUR has been retired to stand at Haras de la Hermeraie in northern France at a fee of €1,000.
Bred by Anne De Clermont Tonnerre, the son of Stormy River is a half-brother to the Listed winner Chill, out of the Marju mare Calithea, from the family of Coventry Stakes winner Verglas and high-class sprinter Cassandra Go.
Remus De La Tour won seven races from 32 starts for trainer Cristophe Lotoux including the Group 3 Prix du Lys at Chantilly over 1m4f at three.
Didier Lequesne, of Haras de la Hermeraie, told Jour de Galop: "He is a horse that has an extraordinary temperament. He has proved that he is a quality racehorse. He is a good-looking horse and is very handsome. He is the first son of Stormy River to stud.
"We hope that he gets a good number of mares as he begins at the stud farm.
"That is why we are standing him at a very affordable fee of €1,000 or a free mating with the option to purchase the foal."
