FRANKEL has 17 yearlings from his second crop set to sell at Book 1 of this year's Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, which starts its three-day run on October 4.
The dual world champion has made a fantastic start to his stud career having supplied nine winners from his first crop.
Progeny set to go under the hammer by the Banstead Manor Stud resident later this year include a half-brother to Group 2 heroine Speedy Boarding (Lot 5), a son of the Group 1-winning Dr Devious mare Kinnaird (134) and a colt out of five-time Group 1 scorer Attraction consigned by Floors Stud (475).

His sire, Galileo, has 21 yearlings up for auction headed by a sister to three-time Group/Grade 1 hero Highland Reel (109).
Darley's flagship stallion Dubawi also has 21 lots to go through the ring and among them are a half-brother to Group 1 winner Izzi Top and Group 2 scorer Jazzi Top consigned by Meon Valley Stud (427).
Of this year's class of first-crop sires Camelot and Dawn Approach have the largest number catalogued, each with 25 of their offspring offered at the sale.
Other eye-catching lots at the auction include a Champs Elysees half-brother to 2,000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold (71), an Exceed And Excel half-brother to Cursory Glance offered by The Castlebridge Consignment (379), and a Galileo sister to last month's Falmouth Stakes heroine Alice Springs (441).
Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "The catalogue for Book 1 of the 2016 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale is exceptional, even by its usual lofty standards.
"While it remains the leading source of European Classic winners, the introduction of the £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus has added an extra dimension and captured the imagination of owners and trainers.
"The scheme has already seen 15 winners, several of which have covered their purchase price by winning the bonus whilst others have won enough prize-money to cover at least a year of training fees.
"Europe's premier yearling sale has all the ingredients to attract buyers at every level of the market and we look forward to welcoming the global audience to Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale."
