G Force bound for The Curragh
Connections of G Force have decided to bypass the Bengough Stakes at Ascot on Saturday and wait for the Waterford Testimonial Stakes at the Curragh on October 9.
G Force: Bound for a Listed race after Ayr Gold Cup fourth.
Adrian Keatley, who now trains the former Group One-winning five-year-old, feels the ground might not be suitable and prefers to wait a week and run him nearer home in what might be a slightly easier contest.
"Everything's okay. We're going to wait for a Listed race at the Curragh on Sunday week. It's a better option for him," said Couny Kildare-based Keatley.
"We didn't want to take him on the journey to Ascot and back and run on ground that is probably going to be fairly quick.
"We want to get a win into him and we have plenty of options for him before the end of the year, so we want to have plenty in the tank."
G Force, who enjoyed his finest hour in the 2014 Sprint Cup at Haydock when in the care of David O'Meara, was last seen finishing fourth in the Ayr Gold Cup.
