Godolphin buy Harry Angel
Godolphin have snapped up exciting colt Harry Angel ahead of his run at Royal Ascot later this month.
Clive Cox's three-year-old was runner-up to the Godolphin-owned Blue Point on his first start of the season in Ascot's Pavilion Stakes and went one better in spectacular fashion in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock last weekend.
John Ferguson, Godolphin's chief executive and racing manager, told the Godolphin website: "Harry Angel is one of the most brilliant young horses in training and we are delighted to have purchased him.
"Not only is he a fantastic prospect for all the major Group One sprints, being a son of Dark Angel, he also has the added attraction of being a potential stallion.
"We are also excited about having another top horse with Clive Cox, whose expertise and reputation is second to none."
