Grade 1 star Reve De Sivola dies at Kelso By Peter Scargill 3:23PM 25 MAR 2017

REVE DE SIVOLA, a six-time Grade 1 winner in three different countries, has collapsed and died aged 12 at Kelso on Saturday.

Owned by the Paul Duffy Diamond Partnership, Reve De Sivola was talented, tough and tenacious, rarely going down without a fight as he aimed to grind down his rivals from the front.

He had been putting up a typically bold effort in the 3m2f handicap hurdle at Kelso when he was quickly pulled up before the final hurdle by jockey James Reveley. He collapsed moments later.
