Ground warning for Centauri
Jessica Harrington has warned Alpha Centauri will only take her chance in the Albany Stakes should the ground prove suitable.
The daughter of Mastercraftsman was installed as favourite for the Group Three after maintaining her unbeaten record with an impressive victory in a Listed race at Naas.
Although Harrington intends to make Royal Ascot the next port of call for the Niarchos family-owned filly, her appearance at the meeting will only materialise if the ground is not too quick.
Harrington said: "Alpha Centauri is great. She has come out of the race well and I am happy with her.

"We are looking at the moment to go to Ascot for the Albany, but there would be a reservation about running her if the ground had firm in it.
"She is a very mature filly and a big filly and at this stage of her career she has surprised me. She would be one of the best two-year-olds that I've had."
Plans are in place to send Torcedor, who made it two from two since joining Harrington from David Wachman in a Group Three at Navan last month, straight to the Ascot Gold Cup.
Although the five-year-old is yet to race beyond two miles, Harrington is confident the son of Fastnet Rock will see out the two-and-a-half-mile trip in the Group One showpiece.
She said: "Torcedor is going to the Ascot Gold Cup. That is the plan and it is all systems go at the moment. He has settled in well since moving here. The trip should be fine for him in the Gold Cup, as he is a very relaxed horse."
