GROUP 1 winners Dick Whittington and Epicuris head the bumper catalogue of 1,515 lots set to go under the hammer at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale which begins a four-day run on October 24.
Dick Whittington, who won the Group 3 Ballycorus Stakes in June and the Phoenix Stakes last year , is one of 31 horses to be offered by Aidan O'Brien's Ballydoyle Stables.
Epicuris, who landed the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud in 2014 for Criquette Head-Maarek and his owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah, is one of 39 horses to be consigned by Juddmonte Farms.
Also of interest is Noor Al Hawa, a three-year-old son of Makfi, who was last seen winning a Group 3 in Germany for his trainer Andreas Wohler, Group 2 winner Shining Emerald, and Listed scorer GM Hopkins.
Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "This year's catalogue cover girl says it all about the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale. Last year's 12,000gns purchase Jet Setting winning the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas typifies the extraordinary combination of quality and value for money to be found at the sale every year.
"The beauty of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale is that it has horses to suit every possible requirement, both Flat and National Hunt, domestic and overseas.
"It is a unique sale, the largest of its type in the world, and as ever, it has all the ingredients to attract buyers from every continent in the world."
