HAAFHD is relocating to Batsford Stud in Gloucestershire for the 2017 breeding season and will stand at a fee of £3,000 next year.

The 15-year-old son of Alhaarth, who is out of champion Al Bahathri, was trained by Barry Hills for his owner-breeder Hamdan Al Maktoum to win the 2,000 Guineas and Champion Stakes in 2004.
Since retiring to stud he has developed into a dual-purpose sire and his leading performers on the Flat include the Group 2 scorers Junoob, Noble Protector and Silver Grecian.
In the National Hunt sphere he is best known as the sire of Countrywide Flame, who won the Grade 1 Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle in 2012, and Grade 3-winning hurdler Carlito Brigante.
Alan Varey of Batsford Stud said: "We are delighted to be standing Haafhd here at Batsford Stud and to be continuing our relationship with Shadwell.
"He is a lovely individual, with a great pedigree and good conformation."
Shadwell Stud Director Richard Lancaster added: "Shadwell is delighted to be building on our established relationship with Batsford Stud and to be presenting an opportunity for breeders in the Cotswolds to have access to a stallion who has proved himself successful both on the Flat and with National Hunt runners."
