KEMPTON'S opening 1m2f maiden sees Saeed Bin Suroor introduce Quality Moment, a Casamento half-sister to the Group 2-winning sprinter Hot Streak, at 4.25pm.

Hot Streak registered three stakes wins in the colours of Qatar Racing, headed by victory in the 2014 Temple Stakes over 5f, in addition to twice being placed at the highest level when runner-up in the Middle Park Stakes and third in the King's Stand Stakes.

Quality Moment was bred by Barry Noonan out of the unraced Housebuster mare Ashirah, a granddaughter of outstanding blue hen Height Of Fashion, the dam of Nashwan and Nayef.

Ashirah has been responsible for three previous winners with Quality Moment also being a half-sister to the 6f Listed-placed filly New Design and Greek 5f to 6f scorer Karpathos.

Quality Moment has twice been through the sales ring, firstly when offered by Cregg Stud at the 2014 Goffs November Foal Sale where she was purchased by Stauffenberg Bloodstock for €210,000. She returned to the sales ring at last year's Tattersalls October Yearling Book 1 Sale where she was bought privately by John Ferguson for 200,000gns.
