Hereford ready for business
To celebrate the return of jumps racing to Hereford, the racecourse has renamed their main restaurant in honour of Champion Jockey Richard Johnson.

The Rusty Bridge Restaurant is named after Richard's first ever winner, Rusty Bridge, which he rode for his mother at Hereford in 1994.
In addition, to help racegoers celebrate the day, the first 2,016 tickets sold for the bet365 Opening Raceday will include a free drink, courtesy of Hereford Racecourse.
Rebecca Davis, Executive Director of Hereford Racecourse, said: "We are full steam ahead with preparations for racing on 6 October.
"We cannot wait to welcome everyone through the gates in three weeks' time with the first 2,016 racegoers to book tickets receiving a complimentary glass of wine, pint of beer or soft drink on the house to mark the occasion."
Arena Racing Company ("ARC") and Hereford Racecourse have announced that bet365 will be headline sponsor of two of the first four fixtures in 2016.

The bet365 Opening Raceday will take place on Thursday 6 October with all seven races taking the sponsor's name.
In addition, the Stoke-based firm, who are an Authorised Betting Partner of British Racing will also headline The bet365 November Meeting on Wednesday 23 November.

Along with the bookmakers, Hereford Racecourse also welcomes as sponsors local firms Kidwells Solicitors who will be sponsoring the main grandstand as well as Chase Distilleries, who will be offering a range of premium spirits across racecourse bars and Cotswold Hereford MINI and BMW.
