Hit The Bid in Childers frame
Hit The Bid is likely to make the trip from Ireland for the Pepsi Max Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster on Friday, as long as there is no more rain.
A 50-1 winner at the Curragh last month, trainer Darren Bunyan had been considering a crack at the Mill Reef at Newbury.
However, with a settled week forecast weather-wise, Bunyan is keen to run while he has decent ground.
"I'm very happy with him at the minute and he's hit the ground running since his win," said Bunyan.
"It's all down to the ground with him, it was as soft as he'd want it last time (good) and we'll go wherever we'll get the ground.
"He's only going to have one more run this season as this year is a bonus really, it's all about next year with him, he's not even furnished yet.
"He could go five or six (furlongs), that doesn't matter, but I'd hate to pass up the chance to run him on good ground to wait for the Mill Reef and the ground goes soft."
