Joseph O'Brien: Dundalk winner

Sent off at odds of 12-1 for the New Year's Eve Greyhound Racing At Dundalk Maiden, the two-year-old Requinto colt repelled the late advances of Alfredo Arcano by a neck in the hands of Donnacha O'Brien.

The successful trainer said: "It's nice to have a winner in those colours, and he's the only one we have for them."

Of Duplication, Joseph O'Brien added: "We expected him to run better than he did the first day (eighth at Dundalk on November 18) but he was very green and came on a lot for the run.

"There is a winners-of-one race here in the next few weeks, and that is an option."
