The 11-10 favourite just got the better of the pacesetter over the last, but was all out to fend off the late surge of A Genie In Abottle, eventually prevailing by a neck under Denis O'Regan.

Trainer Mags Mullins said: "He always just does enough and is tough. He came on from the last day, Denis said the ground was just a bit lively and that he would like it a bit softer.

"He's entered in the two Grade One novice races at Leopardstown over Christmas."

Boylesports introduced Martello Tower at 20-1 for the RSA Chase back at Cheltenham in March and also went 10-1 from 14-1 for the four-mile National Hunt Chase.
