Milansbar set for Chepstow sighter
Neil King is leaning towards starting Milansbar off in next month's Coral Welsh Grand National Trial at Chepstow.
Milansbar: Chepstow hopeful
The Upper Herdwick handler has earmarked the extended two-mile-seven-furlong contest at the Monmouthshire track on December 3 as one of two potential targets for the nine-year-old.
After winning his final outing in novice chase company, he was second in the Midlands National before ending the campaign finishing down the order in the Scottish National at Ayr in April.
King said: "He will either go to Chepstow for the Welsh National trial or the London National on the same day. As the Welsh National is on the agenda he may well end up going to Chepstow first.
"He is in great order, but he wants the ground and that is key. He wants one more piece of work and he will be ready to rock and roll."
