More Of That options open

Running plans for More Of That are up in the air after he missed his scheduled reappearance at Carlisle on Sunday.

The ground at Carlisle dried out too much for More of That

The 2014 World Hurdle hero made a flying start to his career over fences when striking gold twice at Cheltenham last season, but he could only finish third when favourite for the RSA Chase at the Festival in March.

Having had a breathing operation during the summer, the eight-year-old was due to make his comeback in the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase, but was withdrawn earlier in the day on account of the drying ground, leaving Seeyouatmidnight to beat his only rival Bristol De Mai.

Frank Berry, racing manager for owner JP McManus, said: "It was dry overnight (at Carlisle) and the ground dried out again during the day.

"We've not made any plans for him. We just need a drop of rain.

"It looked a good race to start him off in, so we'll see what we can find in the next fortnight."

More Of That is a general 8-1 favourite for the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham on November 12 but his price has been enhanced by Sky Bet to 12-1 for November 1 only.
