Nemoralia among Park entries
Jeremy Noseda's impressive York winner Nemoralia is among 31 acceptors for the Saint Gobain Weber Park Stakes at Doncaster on Ladbrokes St Leger day.
Nemoralia: Could run in the Park Stakes at Doncaster
Several of the contenders met last time out in the seven-furlong Group Three Sky Bet City Of York Stakes, when Nemoralia prevailed in good style with So Beloved (David O'Meara) second, Jallota (Charlie Hills) taking third and Librisa Breeze (Dean Ivory) fourth.
That quartet could reoppose in this Group Two contest over seven furlongs, won in sensational fashion by Limato last year.
Other entries include Godolphin's multiple Pattern-race scorer Toormore (Richard Hannon), as well as the latest three winners of the Group Two Hungerford Stakes, which is run over the same distance at Newbury – Richard Pankhurst (John Gosden), Adaay (William Haggas) and Breton Rock (David Simcock).
There is a £9,000 supplementary entry stage for the Saint Gobain Weber Park Stakes at the five-day confirmation stage on Monday, September 5.
Meanwhile, a total of 40 two-year-olds go forward for the Group Two At The Races Champagne Stakes, which is also staged over seven furlongs.
Aidan O'Brien accounts for nine of the remaining entries including Futurity Stakes winner Churchill and War Decree, an impressive winner of the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.
Other contenders include Boynton (Charlie Appleby), who defeated War Decree in the Superlative Stakes at Newbury before taking third behind the same rival at Goodwood, Mehmas (Richard Hannon), a Group Two winner on his latest two starts in the July Stakes at Newmarket and the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood, and South Seas (Andrew Balding), who recently landed the Group Three Solario Stakes at Sandown Park.
The five-day confirmation stage for the Champagne Stakes is again on Monday, September 5, when there is also a £7,500 supplementary entry stage.
