Nemoralia to miss Hungerford
Nemoralia is set to sidestep the Betfred Hungerford Stakes at Newbury on Saturday in favour of an appearance at York next week.
Nemoralia is set to return to the Knavesmire
Placed at the highest level in both the Frizette Stakes at Belmont and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Keeneland last season, Jeremy Noseda’s three-year-old made a hugely impressive return to action in a Listed event at York in mid-May.
She has since filled the runner-up spot in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and finished fourth in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly.
Noseda is now looking forward to taking his star filly back to the Knavesmire on Friday week.
“She is going to go to York for the City of York Stakes,” said the Shalfleet handler.
“She’s in good form and it (the ground) looks pretty good.
“We have no complaints.”
