No rush with Aux Ptits Soins
Aux Ptits Soins is unlikely to be seen out again until the end of next month as he continues his recovery from a bout of colic.
Aux Ptits Soins will be given time to recover
The Paul Nicholls-trained six-year-old suffered the setback following his first victory over fences at Kelso earlier this month.
Although the former Coral Cup winner, who is as short as 14/1 for the RSA Chase, is reported to be fine, connections do not expect to see him out for a while.
Owner John Hales said: "After he won at Kelso he had a bit of setback straight after as he had a touch of colic.
"He went to a veterinary hospital in Bristol, but he is back home now and is 100 per cent fine. Luckily it was not too serious.
"He will probably need a bit of time and we probably won't see him out until the end of January."
