MINELLA ROCCO, who suffered a horrible fall at Aintree on Saturday, was reported on Monday to have escaped unharmed, but connections have chosen not to run him in the Coral Welsh Grand National.
The Cheltenham Festival winner, who crashed out at Aintree's final fence when chasing Many Clouds, had been the sponsor's 12-1 second favourite for the Chepstow marathon, but owner J P McManus and racing manager Frank Berry have decided to look elsewhere for the smart stayer's next start.

Trainer Jonjo O'Neill's assistant Guy Upton said: "He is absolutely fine but we took him out of the Welsh National yesterday.
"I'm not sure what the plan is at the moment but JP and Frank wanted to take him out. He was only a speculative entry and they weren't mad on going there as they didn't want him to have a hard race on soft ground at this time of year."
Hennessy Gold Cup first and second, Native River and Carole's Destrier, remain in the possible field following Tuesday's forfeits stage, and are bracketed together as Coral's 10-1 joint-favourites.
Other interesting acceptors include former Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Lord Windermere, Saphir Du Rheu and Vicente.
