Norfolk could have Consequences
Consequences could clash again with his York conqueror Santry in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 22.
The David O'Meara-trained Consequences was beaten two and a quarter lengths on the Knavesmire on his racecourse debut but improved on that effort to record a facile odds-on success in a novice event at Catterick last Friday.
Nick Bradley, racing manager to owners Nick Bradley Racing 15, said: "At York he looked the best horse in the ring. We've always thought a lot of him and he is one of our biggest two-year-olds.
"I think he ran into a nice horse at York. He hit the front too soon and he was a bit green on that soft ground first time out.
"He was a bit more professional at Catterick, but he has still got more to learn. If he goes to Ascot, I suspect it would be for the Norfolk."
A trip to the Royal meeting is just one possible option for Monkeylou, who made a winning debut for Gordon Elliott at Listowel on Sunday.
Bradley said: "Monkeylou is a serious horse. Gordon Elliott has always told us that he would be a stakes horse.
"Beckford came on a lot for his first run and we expect this fellow to do that. He did a lot wrong on Sunday but still won easily.
"If he goes to Royal Ascot it would have to be for the Coventry, but it might come too soon for him.
"We may wait and go to Newmarket for the July Stakes or the Anglesey Stakes at the Curragh."
