The first to hit €35,000 was a three-year-old son of Kapgarde offered from Dick Frisby's Glenwood Stud who was snapped up by leading point-to-point trainer Denis Murphy.

The half-brother to two winners, who was unsold at the Goffs UK Spring Sale three months ago, is out of a useful dual-purpose runner in France.

Margaret O'Toole then matched that price for a son of Milan from the noted Wexford-based Parkville Stud nursery.

The gelding, who was making up for his missed engagement at the Derby Sale, is from the family of Jessies Dream, who gave Gordon Elliott the first Grade 1 triumph of his career when he won the 2010 renewal of the Drinmore Novice Chase.
