Pelsy boasts a strong background in the industry, having grown up on his family's stud farm in the east of France. He went on to graduate with a degree in political science and law before completing an internship as a legal assistant at France-Galop.

He later gained a Masters in agricultural business, in which he completed his thesis on the French racing system in the global thoroughbred industry.

Pelsy was also pupil assistant to Nicolas Clement in Chantilly and has worked for Roger Varian in Newmarket and Christophe Clement at his barns in New York and Florida.

"I am delighted to have joined the nominations team," said Pelsy, "and look forward to working with the team to continue the success our French-based clients have enjoyed with the Darley stallions in Europe."

Pelsy will be at the upcoming Arqana August Sale in Deauville.
