POSTPONED made it six on the trot with a convincing victory over King George winner Highland Reel in the Juddmonte International Stakes on Wednesday, despite concerns about the drop in distance to 1m2½f.

The five-year-old son of Dubawi has also won the Coronation Cup and Dubai Sheema Classic by clear water this season and is now at the head of betting lists for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at around 4-1.

Postponed is one of 23 top-level winners by Darley flagship stallion Dubawi, who commands a fee of £225,000 at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket.

He made it back-to-back winners of the Juddmonte International for the sire, after Arabian Queen pulled off a shock victory over Golden Horn in last year's renewal.

St Albans Bloodstock bred Postponed out of Ever Rigg, a daughter of Dubai Destination and Lowther Stakes and Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Bianca Nera who won a 1m4f maiden on the Kempton Polytrack for Ed Dunlop.

Postponed is the dam's sole winner from three runners. She also has a two-year-old Nathaniel filly called God Given, a yearling colt by Makfi and a colt foal by Dubawi, and she was covered by Dubawi again this year.

John Warren Bloodstock and Charlie Gordon-Watson bought Postponed on behalf of his owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum for 360,000gns from Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
