Prescott pencils in Marsha for Curragh
Marsha is set to be prepared for a trip to Ireland next month following her fine run in defeat at Goodwood.
Marsha: Set for Curragh trip
Following successive Listed-race victories at Ayr and York, Sir Mark Prescott's three-year-old stepped up to Group Two class for the King George Stakes and was beaten just three-quarters of a length into fifth place.
Connections have decided against supplementing for the Coolmore Nunthorpe at York and she will instead be targeted at the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on September 11.
Prescott also confirmed last year's Doncaster Cup winner Pallasator on course to defend his Doncaster Cup crown after he beat all bar Big Orange in the Goodwood Cup.
"Marsha ran well and has come out of it fine," said the Heath House handler.
"She is going to go to the Curragh for the Flying Five.
"Pallasator is fine and he will more than likely go for the Doncaster Cup now.
"He bumped into a very nice horse at Goodwood, but he ran a good race and we're happy with him."
