Princess pencilled in for Oaks
Ajman Princess could return to Haydock next month for a tilt at the Lancashire Oaks.
After following up her belated maiden victory at Lingfield with a Listed success at Goodwood, the daughter of Teofilo came unstuck on the soft ground at Haydock on Saturday when finishing third in the Pinnacle Stakes.
Trainer Roger Varian is contemplating stepping the four-year-old back up in class for the Group Two back at the Merseyside track on July 8.
Varian said: "Ajman Princess ran a great race on Saturday but the ground was too heavy for her and she could not quicken on that ground.
"She is a much better filly on a decent surface. She could go back to Haydock for the Lancashire Oaks but she would not run in that if the ground was soft."
