BOOMING DELIGHT, a brother to the Racing Post Trophy scorer Rivet, landed a valuable handicap in Sha Tin on Monday, his second win in January.
Originally trained in Newmarket by William Haggas, he raced under the name Out And About and won a 7f maiden on his second start at two. At three, Out And About won a 7f handicap at Haydock on his seasonal reappearance.
By December of 2016 he had been sold to Peter Law Kin Sang, renamed Booming Delight and entered the yard of John Moore, for whom he has had three starts to date, with victories in his last two outings.
Booming Delight is the fourth of Starship's offspring to be exported to Hong Kong. He has followed in the footsteps of the closely related Alexander Pope, who raced in Britain under the name Packing Tycoon, and won the Group 3 Gallinule Stakes and was third to Nathaniel in the Group 2 Kind Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She also has a two-year-old named Avior, a colt by first-season sire Declaration Of War, who is in training with Haggas.
