Seven Heavens set for one more outing
John Gosden will give the unbeaten Seven Heavens just one more outing this season before putting him away for the winter.
Seven Heavens: Set for one more run this season
Although the son of Frankel holds a number of Group-race entries, the Newmarket handler is yet to make a decision as to when and where his final start is likely to be.
Having posted an eyecatching display when making a winning debut at Ascot in July, the Khalid Abdullah-owned colt, who is as short as 12-1 for next year's Qipco 2000 Guineas, followed it up when casting aside his sole rival in a conditions contest at Goodwood last month.
The Newmarket handler said: "He is tall and has grown a lot. He was a little boy when he came in. He has grown all year and won two races, which is brilliant.
"He was set alight at Goodwood (bumped leaving the stalls). He is a lively sort, but he has come out of the race great. His father had one thing in his mind and that was to race. They are real competitors.
"I'd like to run him once more this year, but there is no decision at this time. I think we will be looking at late September, early October. It will be one more run, then he will be put away.
"He is still a leggy individual. He is like a 15-year-old kid who has shot up. It is fine to have one more run, but I don't want any more than that.
"He is well entered and I will see how he is at the time, then we will pick our race. I'm not worried about opposition in as much that it has to be the right time for him."
