Smart Vedevani to be sold online by Arqana By Martin Stevens 3:21PM 4 OCT 2016
VEDEVANI, a useful three-year-old for his owner-breeder the Aga Khan who finished tenth in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Sunday, is set to be offered on Arqana's online auction facility.
Bidding will open on arqanaonline.com at 3pm French time (2pm BST) on Thursday and will close 24 hours later.
The online sale process was used to good effect by Arqana last winter to sell four shares in exciting young sire Siyouni.

Vedevani broke his maiden as a two-year-old at Deauville and went on to finish second in the Group 3 Prix des Chenes that season.
This year he finished third in the Listed Prix Turenne and fourth in the Group 3 Prix Djebel and Prix de Fontainebleau.
Although he finished down the field behind Found in the Arc, he was not disgraced as he appeared to be making the pace for Harzand and was beaten only 12 lengths despite setting a strong clip and was hampered when fading.
Vedevani is out of the Unfuwain mare Vadawina, winner of the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary and a half-sister to dual Group 3 scorer Vadapolina.
His half-brother Vadamar beat Solemia to win the Group 2 Prix du Conseil de Paris and his half-sister Vedouma was a six-length Listed winner.
Vedevani can be seen at Aiglemont from Wednesday until Friday by appointment with stable manager Pierre Groualle.
A veterinary file was compiled on Tuesday and is available to view on Arqana's online repository.
