Sedgefield has doubts over Sunday's meeting

The County Durham circuit was hit by heavy rainfall overnight, leaving areas of standing water on parts of the course.

Clerk of the course Roderick Duncan said: "They had in excess of 10 millimetres of rain overnight and they're in a bit of trouble.

"We've got standing water in some areas and there's more rain forecast for the rest of the day.

"We'll see where we are at 12pm and take it from there."
