KING'S STAND STAKES winner Profitable, who was bought by Sheikh Mohammed's Darley operation as a stallion prospect in the summer, will race in 2017 in the Godolphin blue and will remain in the care of trainer Clive Cox.
Formerly owned by Alan Spence, Profitable won the Palace House and Temple Stakes before striking at Royal Ascot in June.
The son of Invincible Spirit was then a creditable fourth in the July Cup and finished sixth in the Nunthorpe and seventh in the Prix de l'Abbaye.
He was entered in the Longines Hong Kong Sprint at Sha Tin, but was scratched last week.
John Ferguson, Godolphin's chief executive, said: "Profitable is a very talented horse, who will again be able to challenge for all the top sprints in Europe next year, and being well bred, he is one of the best stallion prospects around."
