Swiss Storm out of Royal Ascot
Swiss Storm will bypass Royal Ascot after suffering a slight setback.
The David Elsworth-trained colt was rated a potential Classic contender after winning one of his two juvenile starts last term, but could finish only ninth in the Dante Stakes on his reappearance at York last month.
Elsworth reports the son of Frankel, who is owned in partnership by Lordship Stud and Godolphin, will not run in Berkshire, with a future target yet to be mapped out.
He said: "He won't be going to Royal Ascot. He's had a small issue that has put him back a month.
"He's OK and we're just erring on the side of caution."
