THE THOROUGHBRED CLUB has announced its five star events for 2017 which will give its members the opportunity to gain access to all aspect of the horseracing industry.

Events include the Lycetts Cheltenham Preview on March 2, where an expert panel will run through the key races, a visit to Tom Dascombe's Manor House Stable followed by racing at Chester on June 10, and a morning with At The Races team at Newcastle racecourse on July 1.

A visit to Whitsbury Manor Stud in Hampshire takes place on September 16 and the final star event of the year is a tour round Overbury Stud followed by a day of racing at Cheltenham on November 18.

Regional occasions will be organised alongside the star events to give members across the country a chance to get the most of their membership to The Thoroughbred Club.

The Thoroughbred Club, a merger of the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Next Generation Club and the TBA's 18-35 membership tier, is a network of 16 to 30-year-olds that share a passion for the sport and the thoroughbred.
