Twelve Oaks brings the best form to the table after opening with a four length maiden win at Turffontein over slightly further and following that with a decent enough four length sixth to Green Plains over the same course and distance in the Grade Two S A Fillies Nursery last time out. This represents a drop in class and should see Twelve Oaks win again this afternoon before moving back up in class.
Town Flyer has been found a race with less unknown quantities than most maidens and looks to have a great chance of winning his first race. A well bred son of Visionaire, he took a while to get the hang of things but was only beaten a neck in to third last time out at Turffontein and is improving fast enough to suggest that this is Town Flyer's to lose, granted a clear run.

Romi's Boy is the obvious selection here but should land the odds with the minimum of fuss this afternoon for trainer Alec Laird. A race record of two wins and three places from just the six races catches the eye with a close to six length romp at Turffontein last time out. Up six pounds for that the added weight seems unlikely to stop Romi's Boy following up here if in the same frame of mind and form.
