HOT on the heels of supplying his third stakes winner with Frankuus at Haydock on Saturday, Frankel got a fourth on the scoresheet when daughter Toulifaut delivered a smooth victory in the Group 3 Prix d'Aumale at Chantilly on Thursday.
Toulifaut, trained by Jean-Claude Rouget for Andrew-James Smith, is now unbeaten in three starts, having won a Clairefontaine maiden on her debut in July and a Deauville conditions race last month.
She defeated Clairefontaine maiden winner Normandel by a length in the Prix d'Aumale, with Listed scorer Asidious Alexander in third. The Prix Marcel Boussac could be her next port of call.
Toulifaut was bred by Barronstown Stud out of the Darshaan mare Cassydora, winner of the Listed Lingfield Oaks Trial and Grade 3 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs, and runner-up to Alexander Goldrun in the Group 1 Nassau Stakes.
Cassydora has produced three winners from four runners, including dual Curragh Cup winner Ernest Hemingway – by Frankel's sire Galileo so a three-parts brother to Toulifaut.
The dam also has a yearling filly by Frankel, a filly foal by Galileo and was covered by Galileo again this year.
Cassydora is out of Group 2 Premio Lydia Tesio winner Claxon, making her a half-sister to Listed winner Classic Remark and a close relation to Phoenix Stakes winner and leading young sire Zoffany.
Toulifaut was recorded as not sold when bidding went up to 285,000gns for her at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
Frankel's quartet of stakes winners is completed by Fair Eva (Pricess Margaret Stakes) and Queen Kindly (Lowther Stakes).
