FRANKIE DETTORI may be finding it hard to get a mount in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe but there are no such worries for Freddy Tylicki.

As he drove to Wiltshire for one ride at Salisbury on Wednesday, before heading to Kempton for three more on the evening all-weather card, the jockey was looking forward to getting back on board Baron Von Ullman's Savoir Vivre at Chantilly on Sunday.

Tylicki often rides for trainer Jean-Pierre Carvalho in Germany and was on board when the colt was a fast-finishing head second in the German Derby at Hamburg in July.

The three-year-old has since scored in Group 2 company at Deauville, where he carried less than Tylicki's minimum weight, and his jockey said: "It is really exciting and I'm look forward to it.

"This is one of the top races on turf in the world and I'd say it's the biggest I've ridden in. It's great to be part of it and he wouldn't be without a shout.

"Before the German Derby he'd been wearing blinkers and Mr Carvalho and the Baron decided to take them off after his prep race as he was a little too eager to get on with things and it worked very well."

'Chantilly right up his street'

Savoir Vivre is a best-priced 40-1 for the Arc with Betway, Betfair and Paddy Power but he could well have more improvement in him, according to his jockey.

"He is the type of horse who has grown up with racing," Tylicki said. "The more you run him the more professional he gets. You saw that at Deauville, he went out in front and stuck on convincingly.

"My fellow has done nothing wrong. He gets the weight-for-age allowance and I think Chantilly will be right up his street."
