FREDDY TYLICKI tweeted late on Monday evening to thank all those who have helped him since he suffered life-changing injuries in a fall at Kempton last month.
Tylicki suffered a T7 paralysis, meaning he has movement in the upper half of the body but not his lower.
Following the news, the racing community rallied in support of Tylicki, with an online fundraising page set up by At The Races presenter Matt Chapman raising at least £330,000.
Tylicki tweeted: "Struggling and fighting! Thank you every single one for all the support! Here is to a long road in front of me! Much love everyone!"
There was a huge response to Tylicki speaking for the first time since his fall, with his tweet retweeted over 1,200 times and liked over 3,000 times.
Trainer Robert Cowell was among those to wish him well in his recovery, replying: "There's huge support for you mate – keep the positivity and the strength. Very best wishes."
