Vroum Vroum in gear for Doncaster

Vroum Vroum Mag is a surprise entry in the olbg.com Doncaster Mares' Hurdle on Saturday after the race was reopened due to insufficient numbers.

Vroum Vroum Mag could travel to Doncaster on Saturday

She met with her first defeat since joining Willie Mullins in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle on her first start of the season but returned to winning ways in the Christmas Hurdle over three miles. If she takes her chance she is likely to be a long odds-on favourite.

Gordon Elliott has entered Whizzzey Rascal who has won at Ayr and Bangor recently but at a lowly level.

Paul Nicholls can choose from prolific winners Coillte Lass and Lifeboat Mona, but the latter would be dropping markedly in trip.

Dan Downie, racing manager for owners Axom, said: "She would be dropping back to two miles and at this stage I'm not sure that's what she wants.

"We've put her in just to have a look and see.

"We're thinking of other options for her, we're trying to think outside the box and not everything will revolve around Cheltenham."

Dan Sketon's Late Night Lilly is another in red-hot form.

Intense Tango, Midnight Jazz and My Khaleesi are the other possibles.

The other reopened race on the card, the Sky Bet Lightning Novices' Chase, sees Nicholls with two of the six possibles in Grade Two winner Le Prezien and Marracudja.

Cloudy Dream, second to Buveur D'Air at Haydock, could aim to give Malcolm Jefferson successive Grade Two novice chase wins after Waiting Patiently at Haydock.

Ben Pauling has two possibles in A Hare Breath and Cyrius Moriviere, who is yet to complete in three starts over fences but lost a sure victory when his saddle slipped earlier this month.

Brian Ellison's Forest Bihan is also entered.
